Day 1Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
Nyerere National Park
Leave Dar es Salaam for Nyerere National Park by road or scheduled light aircraft according to the package. Road travel is long but scenic; flying saves time and is preferable in shorter premium itineraries. After arrival and check-in, begin an afternoon game drive or, where scheduled, a Rufiji River boat safari. Nyerere combines riverine habitat, lakes, woodland and broad wilderness, offering a very different experience from the northern circuit. Daily timing remains flexible within park regulations and confirmed logistics. The guide will adjust stops and pacing according to road conditions, wildlife activity and the guests' comfort while protecting the overall route plan.
Day 2Nyerere Game Drive and Rufiji River Boat Safari

Begin with an early final wildlife drive or short lodge activity, then leave Nyerere for Dar es Salaam by the transport method confirmed in the package. The road option occupies much of the day, while a scheduled flight substantially reduces travel time. Keep any same-day international departure conservative because road conditions and light-aircraft schedules can change. The package ends at the agreed Dar es Salaam hotel or airport. Final drop-off timing should be matched to the guest's onward flight or hotel plan. If an onward flight is booked, a safe time buffer should be kept rather than relying on the most optimistic road estimate.
